Brook Run Grand Opening

Here’s some pics shot by Christian Griffith for BrookRunSkateboardPark.com - enjoy.

Sick, shallow-end smith grind. Everyone above seemed to like it as well.

More smith sickness …just a little deeper.

Smooth frontside grind in the deep end of the peanut bowl
We shot a lot of photos of this session and also have the unedited, hi-res versions of them [...]

Some skaters are getting the opportunity to test out the sweet ‘crete at Brook Run Skate Park before the grand opening. The AJC was there and shot some great photos …especially of Chris Coffman, of a twelve year old ripper who luckily gained access to the new skate park.

Read the AJC [...]

The park opened early Saturday morning allowing residents and skaters an opportunity to tour the park, meet some of the staff, sign waivers and seemingly, watch a “sort of” demo. I have no idea who the guy was skating this “kinda-demo” in a dress shirt with a tie, but he was dropping into the deep end of [...]

Rainy Day Video of Brook Run Park

Pretty sure this li’l diddy is compliments of the GeorgiaSkater.com crew, but who knows. Just enjoy the show.

I hope the local, ‘concerned’ residents notice that the lights are all vertically pointed and the speakers relatively small. Personally, I could care less about music as I doubt they’ll be rocking much of [...]

An AJC blog titled Northside.Talk recently posed a question regarding the lighting at the new Brook Run Skate Park. Offer you’re feedback and support for adequate lighting times:

The park needs all the positive support it can get.
