For a large number of metro Atlanta skaters, Brook Run Skate Park is the culmination of a lot of hard work and a solid drive to get a quality skatepark in Dekalb County. As one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States, Atlanta has lagged way behind other states, and even other cities right here in Georgia, with regards to quality public skateparks.
This web site is designed by a local, metro Atlanta skateboarder to serve as an information resource for this promising new skatepark; but moreso, it’s a community. We encourage skateboarders, BMX cyclists and other park patrons to participate in this site by adding comments, suggestions and updates to the news and information on the site.
