Johns images demonstrate a good understanding of skate photography from the composition of the photos down to the razor sharp, stop-action imagery and trick timing.

In the future, one recommendation I would make to John to improve his imagery even further would be to focus a little more on depth of field to wash out the background a little. Distracting backgrounds can take away some of the “awe of action”.

Way to go John. Your photos are truly exciting and a great representation of some of the quality street skating at Brook Run Skate Park.
